Brief:

In order to integrate their advanced barcode generation technology onto mobile web i-movo faced the huge challenge of ensuring their barcodes rendered perfectly on every mobile browser. If they did not do it perfectly without the tiniest distortion their barcodes would not scan. In addition they work with some of the largest brands in the world so it is critical that those brands are strongly represented to mobile users.

What Wapple did:

The innovative solution has been made possible using Wapple's new XML-based mark-up language, WAPL (Wapple Application Programming Language), allowing them to easily output their existing barcode technology into mobile format and then, using Exhibit™, automatically present it perfectly on every mobile device. Working closely with the Wapple support team i-movo has been able to refine the delivery of their product to deliver an outstanding user experience to each of their clients.

Result:

i-movo is now able to confidently deliver rich, branded, voucher and ticketing promotions for their clients on mobile web. The mobile vouchers can be scanned quickly and easily, directly from the mobile browser, at the point of sale to redeem goods, services or mobile ticketing, for example.
