MyThum Interactive Case Study
"Not only have the Wapple folks been extremely helpful and friendly throughout our implementation but using Wapple has allowed us to rapidly launch an effective WAP presence for our customers." - Anthony Kanfer, MyThum

MyThum Interactive is a leading mobile media company, helping brands and broadcasters to build a direct relationship with consumers through their mobile phone. MyThum powers their customers’ mobile strategies using a comprehensive toolkit that includes text messaging, interactive television, rich content, interactive voice response and promotion through out-of-home digital media.
Naturally Mobile Internet is central to MyThum’s business strategy and therefore they needed a solution that would allow them to build functionally rich mobile internet sites dynamically and update and change them on a consistent basis, but at the same time feed in US and Canada operator compliant content from their own servers.
After an introduction to Wapple in November 2006, MyThum chose to use the Wapple platform and service because of its reputation as a small company with great customer service, the ease of use of its technology and cost effective pricing.
Since January MyThum have become extremely familiar with Wapple technology, finding it extremely easy to use, once over the minor initial learning curve, and have already launched the Mobile storefront for one of its major entertainment partnerships. To drive traffic to the site, the entertainment brand advertises text call-to-actions resulting in appropriate wap-pushes, in online media, print (marketing collateral) and via television broadcast spots.
MyThum are very happy with the support provided to date and that Wapple have met the entire brief for the required integration into their hosted content catalogue data and their purchase transaction engine which takes the end-user through operator billing. Over the next 12 months MyThum will be able to evolve the storefront by adding additional microsites and landing pages tied to various promotions in order to increase traffic and hence transaction revenue. They will also offer mobile internet services to their customers as part of their solution set where WAP continues to be an important growth area.
