Google and Wapple team up to mobilize advertisers with GoMo
Award-winning mobile web technology provider Wapple (http://wapple.net) is teaming up with Google for its new Google GoMo offering.
Released worldwide on November 1st, Google GoMo is an initiative that will provide critical tools and resources through its selected partners to enable its advertisers to make their websites more 'mobile-friendly'. Through GoMo, advertisers will be able to use Wapple's technology and services to ensure their mobile campaigns have the widest reach of mobile consumers.
Earlier this year Google reported that 79% of its largest advertisers do not have mobile-optimised web sites and has made it a priority to focus on the mobile needs of its advertisers.
"This initiative from Google is exactly what is required for advertisers to maximise return on investment on mobile. We are overjoyed to be working on GoMo and have been pushing for brands to become 'mobile friendly' for many years. With our advanced mobile web technology platform and eight years' experience of mobile web marketing we wish to make every one of our customers successful by delivering an experience designed for the consumer on the move and technically optimised for every single mobile device and browser," said Rich Holdsworth, Wapple CEO.
The relationship with Google marks another landmark in an impressive year for the company. Wapple has been nominated as Best Mobile Publisher in next month's ME Awards, named as one of the ME Top 50 Mobile Innovators and also nominated as the Most Effective Mobile Publishing Solution at the upcoming Mobile Marketing Awards. The launch earlier this year of its Developer Program has also been hugely successful.
